TERMS & CONDITIONS
Thank you for joining Steel Traditional Martial Arts (STMA) formerly Kuk Sool Won Perth and choosing one of our monthly subscription plans. We want to ensure that you fully understand our terms and conditions for this subscription and the service we offer, so please read the following carefully:
1. Subscription: By subscribing to STMA's monthly subscription, you agree to pay the monthly subscription fee on the agreed-upon date each month. The subscription fee will be automatically deducted from your chosen payment method every month from either Gocardless (our preferred method) or our website www.perthmartialarts.co.uk or standing order.
Payments are made once each month and cover 4 weeks of service. In months with 5 weeks, the extra week is allocated as our time off during term holidays, ensuring consistent billing and service quality.
2. One Month Notice to Cancel Subscription: You can cancel your subscription at any time by providing one month's written notice to STMA. This means that if you wish to cancel your subscription, you must notify us in writing at least one month before the next scheduled payment date.
3. Holidays: STMA will be closed for approximately five weeks of the year, which will be announced in advance, Holidays will most often be one week in Easter break, two weeks in Summer, one week in October and we are closed over the festive break during Christmas and New Year. Please note that any classes missed due to these holidays will not be refunded and you accept that your monthly subscription will carry on throughout these holidays. However where possible you can book extra classes to make up for missed classes within the same month only.

4. Refunds: STMA does not offer refunds for missed classes or unused subscriptions including sickness.
5. Price Changes: STMA reserves the right to change the monthly subscription fee at any time. Any changes to the subscription fee will be communicated to you with at least two months notices before the change takes effect.
6. Membership Suspension: You can pause your subscription for one month, with a written notice of at least one month prior to suspension. During this time, you will not be charged for the subscription fee but will not be able to attend any classes and we reserve the right to give someone else your space.
7. Responsibility: By subscribing to STMA's monthly subscription, you are responsible for ensuring that your payment information is up to date and that you have sufficient funds to cover the monthly subscription fee.
8. Liability, insurance and Membership: STMA has full public liability insurance and instructor indemnity insurance and each member is registered on our member to member insurance policy through British Martial Arts & Boxing association and is a registered member of our United Mirae Kuk Sool association (UMKS), for all belt rank validation and events. It is mandatory for all members to renew their membership annually at a cost of £30 and a portion of this goes towards insurance renewal. All new members will be insured when they pay their joining fee but will need to renew in Ocober of Each year.
We are not liable for any injuries or damages sustained outside our training sessions or classes or gradings. By subscribing to our monthly subscription, you agree to hold STMA harmless from any claims or damages arising from your participation in our classes not covered in our insurance. Any student who wants to add personal accident cover must contact us before renewal.
9. Termination: STMA reserves the right to terminate your subscription and membership of our school at any time if you fail to comply with our terms and conditions/ are aggressive in class or to other members/ show a lack of control/ deemed dangerous to other members/ seen or reported to be bullying or harrasing other members.

10. Sickness: If our head instructor SBN Richard or any lead instructor is unwell or sick we will try our best to get all classes covered by other senior adults and black belts. However in the unlikely event that we can not get cover we reserve the right to cancel all sessions if necessary. No refunds will be offered in this event but students can attend any other class if space is available within that same week.
