We teach traditional Korean martial arts Mirae Kuk Sool to adults and children of all abilities from complete novice to advanced level. Our classes offer lots of variety and no two classes are the same. Through a huge comprehensive syllabus you will learn the martial arts of Korea at your own pace and become a true martial artist (see below for details of what you will learn). Leave every class with a sense of achievement, feel more positive, get fitter, stronger and develop your mind, all whilst having great fun. Through consistent training we will help you progress through the ranks, from White belt all the way through to Black belt and beyond. With emphasis on positive energy, life balance and peace within ones self. We bring out the best in each Practitioner.

With a fundamental focus on self-discipline and respect our martial art can be practiced by anyone, regardless of age, fitness level or physique. Our ultimate goal is to to develop our students to be their absolute best and help take them on a journey of self discovery that they can apply to other aspects of their lives.


Through continuous learning and development, we seek to explore and evolve the entire spectrum of established Asian martial arts and body conditioning techniques, as well as mental development and traditional weapons training.

Encompassing over fifty different Korean styles taken from three primary cultural sub-groups: Family Martial Arts, Buddhist Martial Arts & Royal Court Martial Arts, we offer an exciting curriculum that will keep you engaged and intrigued for many, many years.

Traditional Korean weapons - sword, staff, short staff, cane, fan, spear & archery  

Kicking - power kicks, pressure point striking, specialty jump & spinning kicks 

Striking - pressure point, punching, elbow, knife hand, palm & pad work

Throws & grappling

Sparring - point sparring, light continuous 

Safe falling (break falls) & acrobatics 

Body conditioning  - flexibility, strength, resistance, cardio & plyometrics 

Meditation and breathing techniques

As you can see, our training covers an extensive variety of martial art techniques that is not available anywhere else but the main aspects you will develop are self-confidence and self-discipline, a calm self-assurance, and the psychological and spiritual values which are traditionally associated with the character of a martial artist.
